In 2011 Jessica Gormley de Pérez began a learning center for children with special needs called "Jesus' Little Lambs Center". We had discovered that out of our Physical Motor Assistance Program (CAF); only about 10% of the children with special needs were going to school. Currently we have classes once a week for about 24 children. They are broken into small groups so that we can teach them in an intimate setting. We currently have 8 teachers: 6 Guatemalans and 2 missionaries. We give thanks to God for his provision for Jesus' Little Lambs Center. As of March 2012, we have a new building, complete with 3 classrooms! We also have an adaptive playground finished by volunteers in the summer of 2013. The center offers classes from January through October. Our goal is that each child comes to know Jesus Christ as his or her best friend and Savior. The Director of the learning center, Irma, has many years of teaching experience. The students, who range in age from 4 to mid 20's, have a variety of physical, behavioral and learning disabilities and receive mostly one on one instruction.

Our greatest need is to have people who are willing to donate to our Center. That way, we can meet all of the needs that the school has at every moment! Your gift of $40/month or more, can provide classes for one student.
You can also donate in honor of a friend or loved one through our ASELSI Alternative Gift Catalog.
Thank you for your love for the children of Jesus' Little Lambs Center!
