ASELSI and three other organizations have teamed up to bring important eye surgeries to patients in the Chichicastenango area. Thanks to eye doctors in Columbia, Missouri, the Good Samaritan Hospital in Chichicastenango, Guatemala, and Dr. Julio De Leon of Guatemala City; ASELSI is able to refer patients who have cataracts or other eye surgery needs. By regularly providing eye surgery opportunities here in the mountains, this partnership is helping bring sight to many darkened eyes.
