Over 25 years of ministry have shown us the faithfulness of God and the partnership of people like you who have helped literally build ASELSI into the ministry it is today.

Friends who know ASELSI’s vision to equip saints and transform lives have given large and small gifts over the years. As ASELSI enters a new generation of leadership with a strong vision for the future, it is time to think ahead.

A one-time gift helps us step forward with this vision today.

A regular monthly donation helps us carry on the vision throughout the year.

A legacy gift helps us expand the vision and grow with an eye for what God calls ASELSI to be.

What is Legacy Giving?

Legacy giving is planning a gift that allows donors to give either during their life times and/or after their deaths while still providing for their own needs and for their loved ones.

Typically,  legacy giving allows the donor to provide a charitable gift upon the donor’s death (a bequest), but there are other more intricate ways to make planned gifts  (Contact your financial planner or us for details.)

Examples of legacy or planned gifts are:

  • Bequests (designation in a will document for a portion or percentage of a persons estate to be donated at the time of their death)
  • Outright gifts
  • Life insurance
  • Retirement plans
  • Real Estate donation
  • Securities

  Why Legacy Giving?

 Planned gifts allow donors to:

Give more than may have been possible during their lifetimes.

  • Leave a lasting impact for years to come.
  • Reduce gift and estate taxes.
  • Target charitable causes that are important to them.
  • Plan a future gift without giving up assets.

How to Give a Legacy Gift?

Here are four steps to making a legacy gift.

  • Pray about what God wants you to do.
  • Update your will to include ASELSI in your distribution of your estate plan.
