Conference 2026 - Surprised by Jesus
More than 400 pastors and leaders gathered for the ASELSI 2026 Conference, a special time of teaching, worship, and fellowship centered on the person of Jesus Christ. The theme, “Surprised by Jesus,” was chosen to encourage participants to rediscover the wonder of truly knowing Jesus and understanding his heart, character, and great love for them. Through teachings, workshops, and times of ministry, attendees were challenged to deepen their relationship with God and understand the depth of the Gospel to impact their families, churches, and communities.
Testimony of Magaly - Staff member
“Jesus surprised me throughout the entire conference. Once again, I was reminded that following Him is not about keeping rules or pretending everything is fine, but about walking with Him each day and allowing Him to teach, correct, and love me. He showed me that He does not expect me to always have it all together; even with my fears, burdens, and excuses, He continues to work in my life. I left the conference changed, not because I now have all the answers, but because I saw Jesus again as my Teacher, walking with me every step of the way.”

Testimony of Pastor Doroteo:
“Serving as EBA Coordinator in Aguacatán and Huehuetenango, I experienced God’s work in a special way during the 2026 Conference. I was surprised by Jesus through the worship, workshops, and messages, which were deeply biblical and encouraging. One of the most meaningful moments was the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, a special experience that ministered to my life and strengthened my walk with Christ.”
