Father's Heart
Medical Clinic

The Heart of the Father Clinic emerges in ASELSI because in the region where we live, healthcare is scarce. Chichicastenango, being one of the towns with a higher population, lacks a public hospital for medical attention. The mission of the Heart of the Father Clinic goes beyond addressing immediate health concerns; it aspires to create a lasting impact on the overall health and welfare of the people in Chichicastenango. By providing essential medical services, preventative care, and health education, the clinic aims to empower individuals to take charge of their well-being and lead healthier lives.

The focus of our clinic is Evangelistic, centered on providing assistance and medical care to those in greatest need – widows, orphans, and the elderly. In a world where access to healthcare can be limited, we believe in a holistic approach that not only attends to physical ailments but also addresses the emotional and spiritual well-being of individuals.

Our Clinic Programs

GENERAL
Our medical staff cares for and prays with these families in need. Local churches send teams to pray with and evangelize among the patients. This is a clinic where lives and hearts are transformed.
BABIES/NUTRITION
Pregnant mothers are provided with checkups and prenatal care including ultrasounds. After babies are born, they can return for an evaluation and further care or recommendations if needed. The milk program has saved hundreds of lives by providing training, formula, milk, cereal and medical care to malnourished and at-risk babies.
EYE CLINIC
The sense of sight is an amazing gift. For those who have lost their sight or part of it, the ASELSI clinic is a place of miracles. Generous doctors from the USA and Guatemala provide regular eye care, glasses, and surgeries.
PHYSICAL DISABILITIES
Our licensed physical therapists have trained up a team of local workers to equip patients and their families with exercises, techniques and care that transform the lives of children with special needs and adults with injuries. The Center for Physical Motor Assistance (CAF) treats patients and helps train others. The Jesus’ Little Lambs Center is an educational program for children with special needs who cannot enter the regular education system.
