Guatemala faces a significant challenge in terms of education, with low rates observed not only in general education but also in Biblical education, particularly in the mountainous and remote regions of the country. In these areas, pastors lack access to proper Biblical training. Recognizing this need, our founder, John Harvey, initiated efforts in 1995 to address this gap by creating and developing accessible Biblical courses for pastors.
Currently, we operate a Biblical Institute where pastors and leaders from various regions around Chichicastenango converge every weekend. The purpose is to equip themselves with the teachings of the Word of God, enabling them to faithfully and effectively serve their local churches and make a positive impact on their communities. This initiative has proven instrumental in bridging the educational gap and empowering pastors to better fulfill their roles as spiritual leaders.
Over the years, we have witnessed the profound impact of biblical training on the lives of pastors and leaders in our region. One compelling example is Pastor Miguel Ángel, who, upon completing his studies, joined our team of teachers to extend that equipping to others:

The impact of our biblical studies has transcended the borders of Guatemala, reaching beyond to various countries in the Americas such as Mexico, Venezuela, the USA, and Cuba. Currently, our influence extends to Africa, specifically in Ghana. This expansion highlights the global reach and resonance of our commitment to providing accessible and transformative biblical education.
As we continue to extend our efforts across diverse cultures and regions, our mission remains consistent – to equip pastors and leaders with the knowledge and wisdom found in the Scriptures.
