Hello everyone! We are Orlando and Gabby, family physicians who have had the privilege of serving at ASELSI for almost eight years.

After finishing medical school, we planned to settle in Guatemala City and work in hospitals, but God had different plans for us. During our time in the city, we felt a strong calling from God to come here and serve this community.

Gabby was the first to arrive, working as a doctor in the ASELSI clinic. From the very first moment, she felt God’s presence and a deep love for the people she was treating. This led her to decide to stay and serve full-time.

Meanwhile, Orlando was working an hour away from home, asking God what His purpose was for him. The answer came in an incredible way—through a phone call with two visiting pastors, who prayed for us. At that moment, we felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and knew what the next step was.

The following Monday, Orlando was ready to serve. He started as a volunteer for six months, and then God opened the doors for both of us to work full-time at ASELSI.

Today, after eight years of service, we have the blessing of leading the clinic and the compassion ministries, helping in physical therapy, Little Lamps of Jesus, and the emotional care program.
